Donny Lia on Texas Motor Speedway:  “I like that track.  I like the way it looks.  It looks like its fast.  I’ve probably logged 10,000 laps there on the computer from when I was in high school and college.  I’m really looking forward to going to Texas, but I say that every time that we race.  ”

Donny Lia is Determined:  “The bottom line is; good finishes on the higher speed tracks keep slipping away from us.  I’m more determined going to Texas just to get a solid finish because we just haven’t had a real solid finish on a mile or bigger race track.  We finished 12th at Kansas, which even the 12th at Kansas while being good for us – obviously we’d like to improve on that.  I’m just determined.  I think Jason (Miller, Crew Chief) is too.  We all know that we need a real solid finish on a speedway track and that’s what I’m looking forward to going to Texas for.  I want to show that we can not only run well on the short tracks, but that we can run well on the aero intensive tracks too.”

Donny Lia’s Raybestos® Rookie Report: After his huge win at Mansfield Motorsports Park, Donny Lia made huge gains in the Raybestos® Rookie of the Year competition.  Lia scored Raybestos® Rookie of the Race honors there and jumped from fifth to second in the standings.  Following last week’s race at Dover International Speedway, Lia is now 12 points behind leader Colin Braun.

TRG Signs The Courtyard to Sponsorship Deal: The Courtyard Fort Worth Downtown/Blackstone has signed on as “The Official Hotel of TRG Motorsports” this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. This historical hotel is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth.  Conveniently located on the edge of Sundance Square, the hotel is a short walk to Bass Hall and the Convention Center, and a quick drive to the Fort Worth Stockyards.  For reservations, call (817) 885-8700.

TRG’s Truck Choice for Texas:  Jason Miller, Crew Chief of the No. 71 Chevrolet, has selected Chassis No. 002 as TRG’s primary piece for the Sam’s Town 400.  This is the same truck that the team has raced three of eight times this year; Kansas Speedway, April 26th (qualified 13th, finished 12th); Lowe’s Motor Speedway, May 16th (qualified 34th, finished 34th due to an accident); and Dover International Speedway, May 30th (qualified 8th, finished 17th).
