Donny Lia on Racing into Nashville with Momentum:  “After being off for a couple weeks I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of the No.71 Nationsrides.com TRG Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in Nashville.  We had a great test last week at Chicagoland Speedway and I really hope we can apply what we learned there at Nashville.  As usual, the guys are working hard at the shop and that combined with the momentum we have coming off our first top-10 since we won at Mansfield will help propel us to another great finish.  It would be great for all of us at TRG to have a solid run on a 1.5-mile racetrack, an area of our program in which we have struggled a bit this year.”

Donny Lia Claims Third in Modified on Saturday at Riverhead Raceway:  “Last weekend I was able to get some seat time in a NASCAR Whelen Modified.  It really felt good to get back into a Modified and race with my friends again.  We managed to finish third in the Miller Lite 140 which was a ton of fun for me and my guys.  I'd like to congratulate my friend Jimmy Blewett on his win there, he was tough!”

Racing and Country Music Collide in Nashville:  New country music duo, The Roys, will be at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend as guests of TRG Motorsports.  The rising sibling sounds can be heard on their new album, “Good Days”, and purchased online at www.theroyscountry.com.

TRG’s Truck Choice for Nashville:  Donny Lia’s Crew Chief, Jon Wolfe, has selected TRG Motorsports’ Chassis No. 002 for the 150-lap Toyota Tundra 200.  This is the same truck that the team has raced five times this year; Kansas Speedway, April 26th (qualified 13th, finished 12th); Lowe’s Motor Speedway, May 16th (qualified 34th, finished 34th due to an accident); Dover International Speedway, May 30th (qualified 8th, finished 17th), Texas Motor Speedway, June 6th (qualified 25th, finished 19th), and Kentucky Motor Speedway (qualified 27th, finished 20th).

Donny Lia’s Raybestos® Rookie Report:  Donny Lia is currently 13 points behind Colin Braun in the Raybestos® Rookie of the Year standings heading into the August 9th Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.
