Donny Lia is Confident Cruising into Michigan: “I’m excited to go to Michigan because we’re taking a new truck there that I think is going to be really good. Even if it’s not as good as we think it’s going to be, we’re going to learn something so either way we’re going to come out of Michigan with a positive – at least I’m confident that we are. I’m confident in the guys and I’m confident in Jason (Miller, Crew Chief). They’re working really hard.”

Donny Lia on the Hard Work by his Crew: “These guys are working non-stop in the shop to get these trucks ready and I can’t say enough about them. They really go above and beyond. Because of them, we’re able to bring real good trucks to the race track every week. We just have to capitalize on that a little bit better and I need to make a couple less mistakes here and there and I think we’ll be really good. The bottom line is that everything is in place for us to run better and run upfront at any type of race track, we just need to put all the pieces of the puzzle together and make it happen. I know we’re going too; it’s just going to take a little bit of time which we knew going in.”

Donny Lia is Determined: “I’m determined to have a positive day there at Michigan no matter what we’re dealing with. At the end of the day, this whole racing deal, as hard as it is, it’s a privilege for all of us to be doing what we love as a job so you’ve got to go out there and make the most of it no matter what you’re dealing with. I think I forgot that a little bit during the race at Texas. In the end we were going to be ok, we just got hit with a little bit of bad luck. That comes with the territory. I know we’ll be good to go at Michigan. All of our guys work way too hard for us not to be good to go so I’m looking forward to it.”

Donny Lia to Sign Autographs on Friday: Donny Lia will sign autographs on Friday, June 13th at Michigan International Speedway. Lia will be at the back of his hauler between 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. to sign autographs for race fans.

TRG’s Truck Choice for Michigan: Jason Miller, Crew Chief of the No. 71 Chevrolet, has selected Chassis No. 003 as TRG’s primary piece for the Cool City Custom’s 200. This is a new truck in the TRG Motorsports fleet and will be making its first start of the year on Saturday.
