Donny Lia – No. 71 NationRides.com Chevrolet
Donny Lia on Signing NationRides.com:  “We are very excited to debut a new sponsor on the No. 71 Chevrolet this weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.  NationRides.com will be on the hood, rear quarter panels, and TV panel for the race.  NationRides.com is a website that will be launched in the near future and it will revolutionize the way you buy your next car, truck, boat – really anything motorized that can get you from point A to point B by way of ground or water.  All of us at TRG are extremely excited to be a part of helping NationRides.com gain exposure and awareness as they get closer to their launch.”

Donny Lia on Returning to Racing Action:  After two weeks off since last racing at Kansas Speedway on April 26th, Donny Lia is happy to be returning to the wheel of the No. 71 truck this weekend.  “I am very excited not only to be racing again, but to know that we will be racing for the next seven weeks straight,” he explained.  “Time off is good, but it can get frustrating not being in the rhythm of racing every weekend.”

Donny Lia on Racing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway:  “For me, there is a ton of excitement racing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.  For one, it is basically the team’s home track.  For me personally, I am looking forward to it

since Lowe’s Motor Speedway has always been my favorite race track growing up.  I ran on the little track there years ago in a Legends car and to finally be able to race on the big track is going to be an awesome feeling for me.”

Donny Lia on Rookie Challenges in Charlotte:  “I think we will face the same challenges at Charlotte that we’ve been facing everywhere.  The bottom line is we have to keep our nose clean and get to the end before we have any shot at getting a good finish.  That is what I’ve focused on every time we’ve raced and so far have been able to accomplish that feat.  My main personal goal for this race is to lead a lap.  We haven’t been able to do that yet and it would definitely be a special deal for me personally to accomplish that at Charlotte.  And hopefully we’re leading at the last lap!”

The Truck Choice for Lowe’s Motor Speedway: Jason Miller, Crew Chief of the No. 71 Chevrolet, has selected Chassis No. 002 as TRG’s primary piece for the North Carolina Education Lottery 200.  This is the same truck that Lia drove to as high as second at Kansas Speedway in April, ultimately finishing in 11th place.  ”We are taking truck No. 002 to Lowe’s Motor Speedway,” said Lia.  “It was the first TRG built truck, and so far it is my favorite.  It has been worked on quite a bit since we ran it at Kansas and we are very confident that it will be even better now.  All the guys have been busting their tails (as usual) and have learned quite a bit about our trucks lately and that will definitely help our performance this Friday night.”
