Randy Moss Motorsports is pleased to announce that Donny Lia will take over the driving duties for the No. 81 RMM Chevrolet Silverado in the five remaining races of the 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.  NationRides.com will also return as sponsor for the remaining races on the schedule.

Lia has two starts in the No. 81 Chevy with a best finish of 10th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in September.  His other start for the team was at his home track of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where the 28-year-old was running in the top 10 before his day was ended early by an on-track incident.

"I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of the No. 81 RMM Chevrolet Silverado," stated Lia. "I had a great time working with all the guys on the team at the New Hampshire and Las Vegas races and I'm really excited to do it all over again during the next five races.  Our  communication and chemistry got better with each lap we ran and I honestly feel that there is no telling how much success we can have together.  In my eyes the sky is the limit."

In the 20 races run to date, RMM has had a total of nine different drivers take the wheel of their No. 81 Chevrolets.  In those 20 starts the RMM team has scored five top-10 finishes and had a handful of other strong runs that didn't yield the finishes reflective of the performance.

"I just wish we could have had the results to go along with the runs," commented Eric Phillips, crew chief of the No. 81 Silverado.  "If we had been able to bring home those finishes we would be much higher in the points going into the start of next year."

"The team is excited to have the same driver for the remaining races," continued Phillips.  "The foundation for the communication with Lia is already there now we can build on that and try to finish the season on a strong note."

On July 3, 2008 the team formerly known as Morgan-Dollar Motorsports announced that New England Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss had come on board as co-owner.  With the announcement of their new partnership, Randy Moss and David Dollar unveiled the newly named entity known as Randy Moss Motorsports.  One week later RMM made their debut at Kentucky Speedway with Willie Allen behind the wheel.  Allen turned in a solid 15th-place finish at Kentucky.

"I have been thrilled with our results this season so far," stated co-owner Randy Moss.  "The team has more than met all my expectations and I'm real excited as we prepare for 2009.  The only thing that would make it better is getting that first trophy before the '08 season is over."

In their last four starts, the RMM team has had a truck capable of running in the top-10 and that's with three different drivers in the seat.  Lia plans to continue those solid runs and hopefully get a few top-five finishes and hopefully a win for the team.  Lia is no stranger to winning as he scored his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career victory earlier in the season at Mansfield Motorsports Park.

"I think the main goal for this team and myself over the final five races of the season is to get back to victory lane," commented Lia.  "I know it's been a couple of years since they have last won and for me, I just want to win.  I know it will be a tall order but they say to be successful you've got to dream big, right?"

"If we don't win, my personal goal is to just go out and get solid finishes for the team without tearing up any equipment.  I know how hard everyone on the Randy Moss Motorsports team works on these trucks and everything that goes into them, and these guys deserve to run good.  They have shown just how good they are as they've had trucks that have run in the top 10 for the past several races."

"We know as a team we have the resources to be competitive," added co-owner David Dollar.  "The one thing we have lacked this year is the consistency of a single driver.  With Donny coming on board to finish out the year for us we feel like we can get in that rhythm as we prepare for the 2009 season."

RMM continues to look for sponsorship for the 2009 season.  If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities with Randy Moss Motorsports please call 704-871-2260 or email info@randymossmotorsports.com
