Donny's NHIS Truck Series Preview
NASCAR Major Series Debut in Store for Long Island Racer
This week’s race truck for New Hampshire International Speedway is Chassis No. 36-35.  This is a brand new truck that the No. 36 team will run this weekend in Loudon.

First Timer… Lia will race for his first time this weekend in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.  Lia will however, take his first trip around the track this week prior to the Loudon race at Caraway Speedway in order to prepare for the 200 mile race.
Paving Stones will both adorn the No. 36 truck of Donny Lia this weekend at Loudon.  Whelen Engineering is a Connecticut-based manufacturer of automotive, aviation, industrial and emergency vehicle lighting.  Whelen Engineering is also the series sponsor for the NASCAR Modified Tour, which is where more than 10,000 drivers compete at 49 NASCAR sanctioned short tracks in the U.S. and Canada.  Nicolock Paving Stones and Retaining Walls is a Lindenhurst, NY based company that manufacturers a complete line of interlocking concrete paving stones, architectural paving slabs, precast concrete products, and segmental retaining wall systems. Listen and watch … The New Hampshire 200 is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday, September 15.  It will broadcast on the Speed Channel (TV), MRN (radio) and Sirius Satellite Radio (Ch. 128).

Lia visited victory lane in the Mod Tour race at NHIS earlier this season.
Background… The Jericho, N.Y., native has competed in many different series over the years, including the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.  Lia had already tamed two of the three most hallowed tracks on the Tour (Stafford [Conn.] Motor Speedway and New Hampshire International Speedway) this season, and he completed the sweep a few weeks ago when he captured the pole and a win at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.  It was his sixth victory of the 2007 season.

Already A Winner…  Lia was victorious on the one mile Loudon track earlier in this year on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour when he wheeled his Modified to the winner’s circle in June.

Welcome Aboard… Whelen Engineering and Nicolock
